Terms & Conditions
Parties Involved
Visosport runs active games sessions for members of the general public, groups of people and for companies for their residents or service users.
Description of Services
Two types of sessions are run. The first are general sessions where participants are moving about from an upright position to play in the games. The second format is from a seated position where participants sit around a central table and play the active games on the table.
Payment and Booking
For general sessions and specialist sessions to the general public, payment should be made in advance of the course for a block of sessions. This should be made online.
For sessions run for companies or charities, an invoice is sent out to the customer shortly after the session, with 28 days to pay the invoice.
Code of Conduct
All participants, Visosport facilitators or other staff members are expected to be respectful to each other at all times. All participants are expected to follow the instructions of the Visosport facilitators.
Visosport facilitators are trained to support participants with challenging behaviour and needs and shall work alongside staff members to ensure there is a positive environment. However, should the behaviour of a participant impact upon the enjoyment, safety or welfare of others, the Visosport facilitator shall work alongside other staff members to remove that participant from the session.
Liability Waiver
Visosport has public Liability Insurance for all activities it runs. However, participants take part in Visosport sessions at their own risk, understanding that there are risks of injury through collisions and accidents during sporting activity. Visosport shall write and monitor risk assessments to reduce the risk of accident at sessions and shall regularly reassess this risk and put additional safeguards in place accordingly. If participants are in doubt whether it is safe for them to take part in vigorous exercise, they should consult a doctor before participating.
It is the participants responsibility to inform the Visosport facilitator in charge of the session of any conditions that affect their health that increase the risk of injury or threaten their welfare in writing. Participants should arrive at Visosport sessions wearing suitable footwear and clothing so that they have full range of movement and to limit the risk of damage through quick changes of direction.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Visosport shall give at least 7 days notice of the cancellation of a session, except for reasons out of it's control. For example extreme weather conditions or when a venue chooses to cancel the venue's availability. Once payment has been made for a course of sessions, no refunds shall be made. However, Visosport may offer partial or full refund at it's discretion when there are genuine reasons, on request.
Privacy Policy
All participant data shall be stored securely for no longer than 12 months after cessation of service with the participant or communication. Participant data is only used to communicate with the participant to inform them of future courses or important information about current courses.
Governing Law
Visosport operates under the law of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Amendments
Visosport reserves the right to change the terms and conditions at any time. This shall be published on the website. Current participants shall be informed of any changes to terms and conditions through email, when one is provided.
