Bedbound Residents
Some residents in care homes find it difficult to move around the home or are less confident at socialising or being out of their rooms. Visosport offers additional games specific to the needs of these residents.
Alston House Care Home in Eastleigh, Hampshire
These games can be an add onto a standard Visosport Games Session where the Visosport Facilitator visits individual residents in their homes before or after the main session, running 5 - 10 minute active games in each bedbound resident's room.
Grey Gables Care Home in New Milton, Hampshire
Each of the games encourages physical mobility in a range of realistic movements to encourage residents to use muscles to encourage them to become more active and maintain a level of function.
Wilton Manor Care Home in Southampton, Hampshire
When these bedbound games are implemented in addition to the general active games sessions, they are at a reduced rate as the Visosport Facilitator is already at the home, so saves on travelling.
